Hi! We’re TJ & CariAnn McLean, the husband-and-wife team behind The M4 Co.
I’m CariAnn — born and raised right here in North Augusta, South Carolina. I grew up in the commercial electrical world, a field I’m still very much a part of today. My husband, TJ, followed the same path and now works as the project manager for our family’s commercial electrical company.
The idea for The M4 Co. actually started as a casual conversation. With so many business connections through the electrical industry, we noticed a growing need for custom workwear and branded apparel. What began as a way to make shirts for businesses we worked with daily quickly grew into something much bigger than we ever imagined.
We officially launched in August 2024, and since then, we’ve had the privilege of creating shirts and custom gear for businesses all across the CSRA — and even for companies outside of South Carolina. What started as a small idea has turned into a fast-growing business we’re incredibly proud of.
But more than just shirts and hats, this business is about people. We’re excited you’re here, and we look forward to not only creating custom products for you but also building genuine connections and friendships along the way.
